About Westmere Management

Westmere Management LLC was formed in September 2016 to provide independent and conflict-free corporate advisory services to specialty finance, financial technology, and other companies in related sectors. 

Richard Ginn is the Founder and Managing Partner of Westmere Management.  Prior to founding Westmere Management, Richard was a New York-based investment banker focused on the financial services industry for almost 18 years.  He spent the majority of his investment banking career at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and its predecessor entities.  Before working in investment banking, Richard was a CPA with KPMG working with clients in the financial services industry since 1990.

As an investment banker Richard led strategic advisory assignments including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures across all financial services sectors, as well as capital-raising transactions in both public and private markets. Since 2005, his sector focus has been primarily on specialty finance and financial technology, including consumer and residential mortgage finance.  Earlier in his banking career, Richard worked on transactions involving banks, insurance companies and asset management companies.  Richard has significant global experience from working on cross-border and international transactions with clients in the United States, Central and South America, Europe, and Asia.

Richard received an MBA in Finance from the Stern School of Business, New York University and the equivalent of a BBA in Accounting from Auckland University of Technology (New Zealand).  He holds NASD Series 7, 24 and 63 Licenses and was previously licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (California) and Chartered Accountant (New Zealand).
